100% attendance
ECDIS Ltd is not teaching trainees to navigate using ECDIS. It is teaching them to use ECDIS in order to navigate safely. Therefore, we require the trainee to have basic navigation knowledge and to understand what a
navigation watch entails. We believe that traditional navigation techniques are still relevant in a digital world so we teach the use of existing navigation skills on an ECDIS system.
All of our trainers are specialist navigators, highly experienced in the practical use of ECDIS. Combined, our trainers have taught over 1000 mariners. Course can be delivered anywhere in the world. We are able to visit you and conduct ‘in house’ training on your own systems, ensuring the highest level of understanding for you and your team. The flexibility of our training means that we can train you on the smallest ECDIS system for yachts, through to large groups of merchant ship ECDIS systems with the same high level of professionalism and integrity.
