I started course expecting to be bored stiff. I was very pleasantly surprised and quickly found that I knew a lot less than I thought. A stimulating and educational course which was well presented throughout.

The trainer had very extensive knowledge of all ECDIS systems and their experience very effectively.

This would be an excellent facility to send personnel to for their ECDIS training, as they are also currently building a full-mission Bridge simulator (360 degree), which, once integrated to the ECDIS equipment should prove most beneficial for future training. They also provide an outreach training program, sending trainers out to vessels to perform type-specific training to Officers on board vessels, which could be very cost-effective for the type specific training requirement to satisfy MIN 405, ISM and SIRE requirements.
